Spiderman
At a demonstration on radiation, high school student Peter Parker was bitten by an irradiated spider from which he gained the arachnid's incredible abilities. When a burglar killed his beloved Uncle Ben, a grief-stricken Peter vowed to use his great powers in the service of his fellow man, because he learned an invaluable lesson: with great power must also come great responsibility. Spider-Man possesses superhuman strength enabling him to lift (press) 10 tons. In addition to strength, Spider-Man possesses superhuman reflexes and equilibrium, the ability to stick to most surfaces, and a subconscious danger sense. He also employs twin web-shooters that fire thin strands of web fluid.
As a high school student a radioactive spider while attending a public exhibition on safe nuclear power bit Peter Parker. The result: Peter gained the proportionate strength and agility of an arachnid! A few days later, Peter went home to discover that a burglar in their Queens home had killed his Uncle Ben. Distraught, Peter vowed to capture the criminal. He easily apprehended the killer -- but to his great distress, Peter recognised the lowlife criminal as a suspicious character he had spotted, but ignored, just days before the crime. Taking to heart that with great power comes great responsibility, Peter vowed to go forth with this hard learned lesson. Armed with his wondrous web-shooters, the reluctant super hero struggles with sinister super-villains, making ends meet, and maintaining some semblance of a normal life!
Incredible Hulk
Caught in the heart of a nuclear explosion, victim of Gamma Radiation gone wild, Doctor Robert Bruce Banner now finds himself transformed in times of stress into the dark personification of his repressed rage and fury the Incredible Hulk. The most powerful manlike creature ever to walk the Earth! The Hulk possesses superhuman strength of the Class 100 level, enabling him to lift (press) in excess of 100 tons. He attains his highest strength levels when enraged, and can lift (press) only 70 tons in a calm state. The Hulk can also leap vast distances, and has demonstrated a powerful healing factor.
Dr. Bruce Banner was supervising the experimental trials of a gamma bomb for the U.S. Government, when he rescued a teenager Rick Jones who had wandered onto the testing field. Unfortunately, Dr. Banner wasn't so lucky -- he was struck full-force by the gamma bomb. He survived, but was irradiated by the deadly gamma energy, transforming him into the brutish Incredible Hulk! Though a founding member of the Avengers, Hulk has most often been considered a menace to society.

Ghost Rider
Daniel Ketch, unable to save his sister's life, uses his powers as Ghost Rider to avenge those who have suffered at the hands of criminals.Daniel Ketch can physically transform himself into the mystic being Ghost Rider -- a flaming skeleton dressed as a motorcyclist, with superhuman strength, speed and durability. Ghost Rider also possesses the ability to cause others to experience a level of emotional pain equivalent to that which they have caused in others as a result of illegal or immoral activities.While Playing around in the Cypress Hill cemetery, Daniel Ketch and his older sister stumbled upon the criminal actions of Deathwatch. Not wanting any witnesses, Deathwatch ordered that the siblings be killed. The two tired to escape, but Barbara was seriously wounded. Ketch, desperate to save his sister, dragged her body into a trash heap.soaked in her blood, Ketch came upon a mysterious motorcycle and a glowing gas cap. He touched the cap and was instantly transformed in Ghost Rider, Spirit of Vengeance. Ghost Rider exacted revenge on Deathwatch's minions, but Deathwatch escaped. Barbara was taken to the hospital, where she died. Ketch now uses his powers as Ghost Rider to avenge those who have suffered at the hands of criminals.
XMEN
They are the children of the atom -- Homo Superior -- individuals whose genetic makeup has given them fantastic abilities. Banded together by Professor Charles Xavier, the X-Men have been trained to use their incredible powers for the betterment of mankind. Their never-ending quest: to bridge the growing gap between humanity and mutant kind, protecting a world that fears and hates them.
